📋 Description

• As a Technical Delivery Lead at CDW Corporation, you will lead critical migration and onboarding initiatives for the Virtual Devices (VDI) product area, ensuring seamless, large-scale transitions with minimal business disruption. This role is pivotal in driving the AWS Workspaces to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) migration programme and supporting new partner onboarding into the Virtual Devices service, directly impacting customer experience and operational efficiency across enterprise environments.
• Day to day, you will lead end-to-end delivery of VDI migration projects from discovery through planning, execution, and closure; drive completion of AWS Workspaces to AVD migration programmes; support onboarding of new partners and services into the Virtual Devices platform; coordinate cross-functional teams including VDI/EUC Engineering, Application Packaging, Networking & Firewall teams; manage and collaborate with offshore delivery partners; ensure strong user readiness, communication, and adoption strategies; provide clear stakeholder updates at all technical and non-technical levels; and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in large-scale enterprise VDI migrations, cloud workplace transformations (M365, Intune), and end-user compute (EUC) environments. You will gain hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), AWS Workspaces, and Microsoft cloud ecosystem technologies while honing stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and delivery leadership skills in complex, distributed team settings. You will also contribute to CDW’s AI-fluent organization goals by engaging with evolving technologies and adopting a learner’s mindset.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Lead or Technical Project Manager within IT infrastructure or End User Compute (EUC) environments
• Strong background in End User Compute (EUC) environments with demonstrable experience delivering large-scale migration programmes, including VDI implementations (AVD, AWS Workspaces, Citrix or similar), OS upgrades (Windows 10/11), device refresh programmes, and cloud workplace transformations (M365, Intune)
• Strong understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies and exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and the Microsoft cloud ecosystem
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and distributed teams, including offshore delivery partners, with excellent communication and delivery management skills
• Familiarity with service onboarding processes and operational transition within complex enterprise environments
