📋 Description

• • The Technical Governance SME I serves as the program’s technical authority for enterprise governance, setting standards that ensure consistent, compliant, and repeatable delivery across software development, testing, automation, and security for federal clients including DOD, DHS, DOS, and the Intelligence Community.
• • Day to day, the role involves establishing and enforcing governance frameworks, policies, and standards; leading technical activities to ensure compliance; chairing governance forums; delivering executive briefings to department heads and senior leaders; driving automated policy enforcement and prescriptive remediation; improving deployment efficiency, security, quality, and horizontal delivery through Team Managed Deployment (TMD); and providing transparent reporting and feedback loops for continuous improvement.

• • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in governance-heavy, high-visibility environments; master executive briefing and stakeholder influence; gain hands-on experience with policy-as-code, automated evidence collection, and DevSecOps maturity measurement; and build credibility as a trusted advisor who shapes credible solution narratives and supports capture efforts through ethical opportunity identification.
