- • As a Technical Lead at Prezzee, you’ll drive engineering excellence by guiding a distributed team of developers to deliver secure, high-quality solutions across multiple tech stacks, combining deep technical expertise with strong people leadership to lead by example through architecture design, hands-on coding, and ownership of CI/CD pipelines and production releases.
- • You’ll lead frontend performance and optimisation across Prezzee’s web platform, driving measurable improvements in speed, conversion, and user experience by owning Core Web Vitals, page performance, and frontend responsiveness across a React/Next.js stack, identifying and resolving bottlenecks across rendering, network requests, and bundle size, and partnering with Product, Design, and Growth to optimise conversion funnels and user journeys.
- • Prezzee is a global leader in digital gifting and payments, having sold over 140 million gift cards through partnerships with more than 1,500 brands and serving over 6 million customers worldwide, with a mission to change lives through the power of giving using borderless payment technology and innovative digital solutions.
- • You’ll play a key role in building and scaling high-performing distributed teams, fostering collaboration across time zones, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and delivery, championing best practices, embedding a DevOps mindset, and creating an environment where engineers can thrive and grow while mentoring engineers and leading technical direction within the squad.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience building and optimising modern web apps with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- • Proven ability to lead and scale distributed engineering teams
- • Proven impact improving Core Web Vitals and real-world performance
- • Experience with experimentation platforms, A/B testing, or feature flagging tools
- • Strong testing mindset across unit, integration, and E2E
- • Experience working with analytics and monitoring tools to drive decisions
