- • Own end-to-end product strategy and delivery for Troveo’s AI data platform, aligning product roadmap with company objectives and evolving market demands in AI training data.
- • Design and optimize data ingestion pipelines that enable licensors to deliver massive volumes of multimodal content—including video, audio, text, and structured metadata—to Troveo’s platform.
- • Lead the development of scalable, cost-effective data processing workflows covering profiling, deduplication, transcoding, annotation, and downstream delivery for diverse data formats.
- • Partner directly with data engineers and infrastructure teams to build, refine, and monitor high-throughput pipelines that handle enterprise-grade data volumes with reliability and efficiency.
- • Define and implement onboarding workflows that simplify data submission for licensors of all technical backgrounds, ensuring seamless integration and minimal friction.
- • Use SQL and data analytics to investigate operational issues, validate hypotheses, identify pipeline bottlenecks, and drive data-driven prioritization of product improvements.
- • Own data quality and consistency across the platform, performing reconciliation across systems to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery to AI model builders.
- • Translate complex technical constraints and opportunities into clear product specifications, enabling engineers to ship features efficiently and with high impact.
- • Continuously test and adopt emerging AI tools and technologies to enhance platform capabilities, maintaining a hands-on, experimental approach to innovation.
- • Measure product success through key metrics, using analytics to assess feature impact, guide iteration, and communicate value to internal and external stakeholders.
- • Collaborate across business operations, legal, and customer success teams to align data licensing workflows with client delivery needs and compliance requirements.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with the full lifecycle of AI training data—from licensing agreements to final dataset packaging—ensuring products meet the needs of frontier AI labs.
- • Drive product improvements based on real-time feedback from licensors and internal users, iterating rapidly to enhance platform usability, throughput, and reliability.
- • Balance strategic vision with tactical execution, making informed trade-offs between speed, quality, scalability, and cost in a fast-paced startup environment.
- • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders while maintaining credibility with engineering teams through hands-on technical engagement.
- • Proactively identify and resolve data pipeline failures, latency issues, and format incompatibilities to ensure uninterrupted service for high-priority AI clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product management or similar role in a technically demanding field
- • Strong command of SQL and data analytics, with ability to independently query and analyze data to validate hypotheses
- • Proven ability to translate complex technical problems into clear product specs and ship features alongside engineering teams
- • Maturity and strong judgment in balancing business goals with technical feasibility, with demonstrated influence across teams
- • Comfortable having deep technical conversations with engineers and data scientists
- • Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making
