📋 Description
- • Technical Product Manager responsible for driving technical requirements and RAN product specifications for gateway site installation, serving as the critical bridge between engineering, regulatory affairs, commercial development, and site deployment operations to ensure compliant, scalable satellite-gateway infrastructure.
- • Day-to-day activities include defining technical requirements for gateway site acquisition, managing product and deployment requirements for RAN network hardware, owning configuration standards and governance, coordinating BOM validation with engineering and supply chain, establishing technical validation criteria, managing site feasibility assessments, leading cross-functional engineering coordination, maintaining technical documentation standards, and optimizing technical workflows for gateway site acquisition programs.
- • AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices, aiming to eliminate connectivity gaps for five billion mobile subscribers and bring broadband to the unconnected billions through its extensive IP and patent portfolio for commercial and government applications.
- • The role offers opportunity to develop expertise in satellite ground infrastructure, RAN solutions, RF propagation, regulatory compliance, and site engineering while leading technical product management for gateway site development across diverse geographical environments and contributing to scalable satellite-gateway location deployment.
