  • • The Technical Product Manager (remote) will drive the strategy, development, and execution of technical products from ideation through launch and beyond.
  • • This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and product management skills to oversee complex technical products and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • • In a healthcare payer context, the TPM ensures solutions meet CMS, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements while delivering business value.
  • • Product Strategy and Management:
  • • Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies for technical products and services.
  • • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • • Define product requirements, specifications, and roadmaps in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • • Ensure products meet market needs, are developed within budget and on schedule.
  • • Technical Leadership:
  • • Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders through clear communication.
  • • Translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
  • • Work closely with engineering teams using Agile methodologies and development processes.
  • • Evaluate technical feasibility and make data-driven product decisions.
  • • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • • Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, compliance, and vendor teams.
  • • Lead product planning sessions and sprint reviews.
  • • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • • Coordinate product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • • Market & Customer Focus:
  • • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
  • • Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product improvements.
  • • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success.
  • • Ensure products solve real customer problems and deliver business value.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of product management or business analyst experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data validation.
  • • Experience with ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
  • • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • • Understanding of APIs, databases, and modern development stacks.
  • • Knowledge of EDI standards and file protocols (HIPAA 837/835/820).
  • • Experience with product management tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • • Vendor management and SLA performance oversight.
