📋 Description

• As a Technical Program Manager in Demand Planning and S&OP at OpenAI’s Stargate organization, you will play a critical role in building and scaling the infrastructure planning capabilities essential to supporting OpenAI’s rapidly expanding AI training and inference platforms.
• You will drive the development of planning systems and operational processes that consolidate bottom-up and top-down demand signals into actionable multi-year infrastructure forecasts, partnering with ERP implementation teams, finance, infrastructure strategy, manufacturing operations, and strategic sourcing to ensure scalable and predictable infrastructure growth.
• The Stargate team is responsible for designing and scaling the physical infrastructure systems that power OpenAI’s AI platforms, working closely across global deployment programs to align supply, manufacturing, and capacity planning with long-term demand forecasts.
• In this role, you will develop long-range power and infrastructure forecasting models, establish governance and reporting structures for S&OP execution, identify risks and bottlenecks in the planning lifecycle, and support executive-level strategy reviews — gaining deep expertise in infrastructure planning, cross-functional leadership, and enterprise systems integration within a high-impact, fast-moving AI infrastructure environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, supply planning, S&OP, infrastructure planning, or operations strategy
• Experience building planning processes or operational systems in high-growth environments
• Experience with ERP systems, planning tooling, or enterprise operational systems
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
• Ability to synthesize ambiguous inputs into structured operational plans
• Proven effectiveness in driving alignment across technical, operational, and financial planning domains
