  • • The Incident Response Technical Program Manager is a senior cross-functional operator who will lead Harvey's response to security and reliability incidents, coordinating across engineering, security, and business teams under pressure. This role is critical to protecting the platform that serves the world's leading law firms and enterprises by defining how Harvey runs and learns from incidents.
  • • Day to day, the role involves owning end-to-end coordination of security and reliability incidents from triage through resolution, designing and implementing incident management processes and runbooks, leading post-incident reviews and remediation programs, building incident readiness through tabletop exercises and tooling, and serving as the communication hub during active incidents to translate technical status for executives, legal, and customer success teams.
  • • The role sits within Harvey's Detection & Response function in the Information Security organization, which is responsible for detecting, containing, and remediating threats to the platform. As the first dedicated incident response program hire, the individual will partner directly with security engineering, product, and executive leadership to shape the function from the ground up at a fast-growing AI company.
  • • In this role, the person can build the incident management discipline from scratch, define coordination playbooks and communication protocols, drive structural improvements through post-incident remediation, and gain meaningful influence over how a high-trust AI platform protects sensitive customer data while scaling with the company’s rapid growth.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in incident management, technical program management, or a related coordination-heavy role within a software or security organization
  • • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through high-pressure situations with composure, clarity, and strong interpersonal judgment
  • • Sufficient technical depth to understand distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and security concepts for effective triage and stakeholder translation
  • • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, track dependencies, and drive accountability without direct authority
  • • Experience building incident response or operational programs from scratch, including defining processes, documentation, and success metrics in ambiguous environments
  • • High emotional intelligence and communication skills to operate credibly with engineers, executives, legal counsel, and external stakeholders

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to build the incident management discipline at one of the fastest-growing AI companies
  • • Meaningful influence over how a high-trust platform protects its most sensitive customer data
  • • Chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point with strong product-market fit and world-class investor support
  • • Work alongside a team that operates with intensity, stays close to customers, and pushes for excellence guided by values of Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished
