Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Everbridge is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Executive PMO (EPMO) team, focusing on critical IT programs that intersect with security and compliance mandates. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in driving the successful execution of high-visibility initiatives within a robust governance framework. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our IT programs not only meet their technical objectives but also adhere to stringent security protocols and regulatory compliance standards, safeguarding Everbridge's operations and reputation.
  • • In this capacity, you will act as a central point of coordination, fostering strong partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders. This includes close collaboration with our IT, Security, Infrastructure, and various business units. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all programs under your purview maintain exceptional visibility, remain fully compliant with relevant regulations, and consistently stay on track towards their defined goals. This requires a proactive approach to identifying potential roadblocks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • • The ideal candidate will embody a strong sense of ownership, demonstrating consistent follow-through on commitments and initiatives. A collaborative spirit and a servant-leadership mindset are paramount, as you will be guiding teams and facilitating progress without direct authority. This role thrives on empowering others, removing impediments, and fostering an environment where teams can perform at their best.
  • • Operating within a global organization, you will engage with teams spread across multiple time zones. Success hinges on your ability to establish and maintain clear, consistent communication channels, cultivate sustainable working rhythms that accommodate diverse schedules, and promote a culture of shared accountability. This means ensuring that everyone involved understands their role, responsibilities, and the collective impact of their contributions.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass the full program lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure. You will be responsible for defining program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technical requirements. This involves developing detailed project plans, managing timelines, allocating resources effectively, and tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves proactive risk management. You will identify, assess, and prioritize program risks and issues, developing contingency plans and working with stakeholders to implement solutions. Transparent reporting on program status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and relevant teams will be a core function, ensuring that decision-makers have the information they need to guide the program effectively.
  • • You will also play a key role in establishing and refining program governance processes. This includes ensuring adherence to established methodologies, best practices, and compliance requirements. Your contribution will help to strengthen our EPMO's capabilities and ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery across the organization.
  • • Furthermore, you will facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including engineers, security analysts, compliance officers, and business leaders. This involves organizing and leading regular status meetings, workshops, and reviews, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • • The ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise updates for non-technical audiences is essential. You will be expected to manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure that programs are delivered within financial constraints.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to drive complex, cross-functional IT programs to successful completion, ensuring they meet their objectives while upholding the highest standards of security and compliance. You will be a trusted advisor and a key enabler of Everbridge's strategic IT initiatives, contributing directly to the company's growth and operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with global teams and senior leadership.
  • • Experience working within a governance-driven environment and a solid grasp of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA).
  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

🏖️ Benefits
