As a Technical Project Manager - Growth, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of cryptocurrency by supporting cross-functional engineering teams, particularly within Marketing and Growth, in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical projects.
• • This role demands a unique blend of strategic systems thinking and meticulous attention to detail, requiring you to navigate complex initiatives that span infrastructure, compliance, growth platform development, KYC technology, and internal tooling. You will leverage a combination of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, applying the most appropriate approach based on project context and requirements.
• • You will be the driving force behind the end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional technical projects, with a specific focus on initiatives related to user acquisition, engagement, and onboarding. This involves building and managing comprehensive project plans, detailed roadmaps, progress dashboards, and precise release timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
• • A key responsibility will be to coordinate diverse cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, IT, Marketing, Compliance, and Security, around strategic priorities and desired outcomes. Your ability to foster collaboration and ensure clear communication will be paramount to success.
• • You will proactively identify potential dependencies between various project components and teams, meticulously manage associated risks, and creatively problem-solve to unblock teams, ensuring continuous progress and timely delivery.
• • Facilitate essential project ceremonies such as stand-ups, retrospectives, planning sessions, and stakeholder reviews. Your role will be to ensure these meetings are productive, action-oriented, and contribute to the overall project momentum and team alignment.
• • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall project health through robust metrics and dashboards. You will be expected to iterate on reporting mechanisms to enhance clarity, impact, and provide actionable insights to leadership and project teams.
• • Partner closely with Engineering Managers, Compliance Leads, and Product Managers to ensure a deep alignment on project requirements, realistic timelines, and effective project planning. This collaborative approach will ensure that technical solutions meet business needs and regulatory standards.
• • Communicate effectively across a spectrum of audiences, from highly technical engineering teams to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership. Your ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, concise project plans and status updates will be crucial for maintaining transparency and securing buy-in.
• • Work closely with external vendors when required, ensuring that all engagements adhere to Kraken's stringent compliance and technical standards. This includes managing vendor relationships, defining deliverables, and overseeing their integration into project workflows.
• • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal workflows. This will involve enhancing Atlassian workflows, implementing automation where beneficial, and establishing consistent, high-quality reporting mechanisms to streamline processes and increase efficiency across the organization.
