📋 Description

• Own full-cycle technical recruiting for AI/ML, infrastructure, full-stack engineering, and developer tools roles, from sourcing through offer negotiation and close.
• Build deep understanding of LlamaIndex’s products, technical stack, and culture to accurately assess candidates and represent the company in the market.
• Source exceptional technical candidates through direct outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-powered sourcing tools, employee referrals, and open-source developer communities.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate on candidate profiles, design high-signal interview loops, and maintain candidate momentum amid shifting priorities.
• Deliver high-quality candidate slates with strong judgment on technical depth, motivation, career trajectory, and cultural fit.
• Use AI-powered recruiting tools responsibly by tuning filters, reviewing automated outputs for quality, and prioritizing signal over volume.
• Track and analyze pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks, optimize sourcing strategies, and meet hiring goals.
• Own the end-to-end candidate experience—from first touchpoint to offer acceptance—ensuring every interaction reflects LlamaIndex’s brand and values.
• Maintain strong relationships with engineering and technical teams to align recruitment efforts with evolving product and infrastructure needs.
• Adapt sourcing tactics to competitive markets for AI/ML and developer tool talent, leveraging creative and non-traditional channels.
• Reduce calibration cycles by providing clear, data-informed candidate evaluations that align hiring managers on quality standards.
• Stay current on trends in AI/ML engineering, infrastructure, and developer tooling to speak credibly with candidates and hiring managers.
• Ensure compliance with San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance by considering qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support secondary hiring needs in GTM and marketing as the company scales.
• Maintain strict adherence to LlamaIndex’s policy of not accepting unsolicited agency resumes or paying fees for unsolicited submissions.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth startup or technical recruiting environment
• Proven track record hiring technical talent across AI/ML, infrastructure, platform engineering, full-stack engineering, or developer tools
• Strong sourcing ability with creativity and persistence to engage passive candidates in competitive markets
• Hands-on fluency with modern sourcing and AI recruiting tools, with judgment around quality and automation
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technical domains and build credibility with engineers and hiring managers
• High ownership, speed, follow-through, and communication skills
