- • As a Technical Recruiter at Cogent Security, you will play a critical role in scaling the company’s world-class team by attracting and hiring top engineering, security, and AI talent in a high-growth, applied AI cybersecurity environment.
- • You will partner directly with founders and team leads to define hiring needs, source and engage exceptional candidates through creative outbound strategies, referrals, and talent mapping, and manage the full recruiting lifecycle to close roles quickly and effectively.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at Cogent Security, an Applied AI Lab backed by Greylock, building next-generation AI agents for cybersecurity and partnering with Fortune 500 companies to secure complex production environments.
- • You will develop and refine recruiting systems, track and improve key metrics like time-to-hire and source effectiveness, and have the opportunity to shape an AI-native hiring process while gaining deep exposure to cutting-edge AI and cybersecurity talent landscapes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of recruiting experience with deep technical recruiting exposure
- • Proven experience recruiting in fast-paced, competitive environments such as later-stage startups or high-bar tech companies
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand candidate motivations and adapt strategies dynamically
- • Comfort navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
- • Experience developing, tracking, and improving recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source effectiveness, candidate quality, funnel conversion)
- • Experience building scalable recruiting systems and processes
