- • Own the full-cycle recruiting engine for Offchain Labs, the team behind Arbitrum—the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution on the planet. You will be the single-threaded leader who identifies, engages, and closes world-class technical talent across zero-knowledge cryptography, distributed systems, protocol engineering, and security research. Every hire you make directly influences the performance, safety, and adoption of blockchains securing billions of dollars in value.
- • Partner with founders, staff engineers, and product leads to translate ambitious product roadmaps into precise hiring plans. You will forecast headcount 6–12 months ahead, map the global talent landscape, and design sourcing strategies that reach passive candidates in both traditional Web2 and emerging Web3 ecosystems. Expect to fill roles ranging from low-level C++ protocol engineers to Solidity security auditors and applied cryptographers.
- • Run a high-velocity, data-driven recruiting process. Build dashboards in Lever (or similar ATS) to track funnel metrics, time-to-fill, offer-accept rates, and diversity goals. Iterate weekly with Talent Leadership to refine outreach messaging, interview loops, and closing packages. Your insights will shape compensation bands, employer-brand campaigns, and even product positioning that resonates with technical audiences.
- • Deliver an unrivaled candidate experience that reflects our decentralized ethos. From first email to final offer, you will act as a trusted advisor—demystifying zero-knowledge proofs, explaining Arbitrum’s fraud-proof architecture, and showcasing how each role advances open-source infrastructure. Candidates should leave every interaction feeling they’ve met the smartest, most mission-aligned team in crypto.
- • Act as Offchain Labs’ external ambassador at hackathons, conferences (ETHDenver, Devcon, Zuzalu), and online communities (Crypto Twitter, Farcaster, Mirror). You will host technical AMAs, publish “day-in-the-life” threads, and nurture talent pipelines that span continents and time zones. Your personal brand becomes a magnet for builders who want to ship code that redefines global finance.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and People Ops to craft competitive token-equity packages, visa strategies, and remote-first onboarding. You will pilot creative compensation models that balance fiat, equity, and future token incentives while staying compliant across jurisdictions. Every offer you extend is a mini-product launch that balances risk, reward, and regulatory clarity.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion at the protocol layer. Build sourcing partnerships with university blockchain clubs in emerging markets, sponsor grants for under-represented researchers, and design interview rubrics that minimize bias. Your work ensures the Arbitrum ecosystem reflects the global community it serves.
- • Continuously improve. Run retros after every search to document lessons learned, update playbooks, and automate repetitive tasks. Whether it’s a new Boolean string, a Calendly hack, or a GPT-powered outreach template, you will raise the bar for what a crypto recruiter can achieve.
