- • The Technical Services Engineer role at Metergy Solutions LLC is critical to supporting the company’s mission of delivering accurate utility consumption data through advanced submetering solutions, directly contributing to carbon emission reductions and sustainable building operations across North America.
- • Day to day, the person will develop and deliver technical submetering solutions for mixed-use communities, collaborate with property developers to design fair billing systems for shared amenities, install and configure metering hardware, troubleshoot technical issues in the field, and support the Custom Solutions team in turning complex utility measurement needs into reliable, scalable implementations.
- • Metergy is a technology-driven, Brookfield Infrastructure-backed company with over 45 years of experience in submetering, serving more than 900,000 contracted meters and issuing over 4 million utility bills annually. 🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- • Proven experience in technical field service, installation, or support of metering, utility, or building automation systems
- • Strong understanding of electrical, water, gas, or thermal energy measurement principles and submetering technologies
- • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and utility plans
- • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting
- • Willingness to travel to client sites across Canada and work in varied environments including multi-residential and commercial buildings
