📋 Description

• Technical SIPP Lead role focused on ensuring Seccl’s Personal Pension remains compliant, scalable, and partner-focused by providing specialist SIPP expertise across product, operations, commercial, launch, and engineering teams.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments, drafting and maintaining policies and process flows, managing regulatory reporting, supporting automation of pension propositions, and providing technical oversight on high-risk operational tasks and due diligence.
• Part of the technical services team within Seccl, an Octopus-owned B-Corp certified embedded investment platform with strong product-market fit and rapid growth, mission-driven to transform the investment industry.
• Opportunity to deepen SIPP and pensions regulatory expertise, influence cross-functional stakeholders, shape automated pension propositions, and contribute to strong outcomes for partners and customers in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of SIPP products and pension regulation
• Strong understanding of HMRC rules, pensions legislation, and regulatory guidance
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and turn them into practical business solutions
• Understanding of the Pensions Tax Manual and its practical application
• Skill in influencing stakeholders and championing regulatory best practice
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to problem solving

🏖️ Benefits

• Salary between £80,000 and £90,000, dependent on experience and reviewed annually
• 27 days holiday + bank holidays, birthday off, and three days dependant leave per year
