- • Solace Corporation is on a mission to fundamentally transform the U.S. healthcare system, which is currently plagued by complexity and a lack of health literacy, impacting 88% of adults. We empower patients by connecting them with expert advocates and providing essential tools for informed decision-making, ultimately leading to better health outcomes. As a rapidly growing Series C startup, founded in 2022 and supported by prominent investors including Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP, we are building a lean, mission-driven team dedicated to redefining healthcare. This is an environment for individuals who are driven to make a significant impact, possess a high degree of urgency and precision, and are committed to delivering their best work alongside a passionate and dedicated team. If you are seeking a challenging role where you can push your boundaries, refine your skills, and contribute to a meaningful cause, Solace Corporation offers that unique opportunity. We foster an intense, high-performance culture that thrives on tackling complex problems and achieving ambitious goals.
- • As a Technical Sourcer at Solace, you will be the pivotal force driving our engineering talent acquisition efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously source, identify, and engage with exceptional technical professionals across critical domains such as Software Engineering, Data Engineering/Analytics, and Security. You will be the architect of our talent pipeline, responsible for building targeted candidate pools, conducting thorough initial screening interviews to assess candidate suitability, and ensuring that our hiring managers are presented with a consistently high caliber of well-qualified individuals. This role demands a strategic approach to talent acquisition, focusing on proactive engagement and relationship building to secure the best minds for Solace's future growth.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of sourcing and engagement activities. You will actively search for and identify top-tier technical talent, focusing on Software Engineering, Data, and Security roles, ensuring a robust pipeline for current and future needs. A key aspect of your role will be to build and maintain strong, sustainable talent pipelines for multiple concurrent engineering searches, each with specific headcount targets that you will be instrumental in achieving. You will conduct structured first-round recruiter screens, designed to evaluate not only a candidate's technical aptitude and motivation but also their alignment with Solace's core values and mission. This involves asking insightful questions and actively listening to understand their career aspirations and cultural fit.
- • Collaboration with hiring managers will be paramount. You will work in close partnership with them to gain a deep and nuanced understanding of the technical requirements for each role and to collaboratively refine and optimize search strategies. This ensures that our sourcing efforts are precisely targeted and highly effective. To achieve this, you will employ a diverse array of creative sourcing techniques, leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, specialized Slack communities, technical forums, and other innovative, non-traditional channels to uncover passive candidates who may not be actively looking but possess the ideal skill sets. Your ability to think outside the box and explore new avenues for talent discovery will be crucial.
- • Maintaining meticulous records and ensuring efficient workflow management are also critical components of this role. You will be responsible for keeping our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Ashby, clean and well-organized, ensuring that all candidate data is accurate and up-to-date, and that communication flows smoothly and promptly. This organizational rigor is essential for tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and reporting on key metrics. Furthermore, you will be tasked with delivering clear, concise, and insightful candidate summaries and assessments to hiring managers, providing them with the necessary information to make informed and confident hiring decisions. This involves synthesizing complex information into actionable insights.
- • Continuous improvement and strategic experimentation will be encouraged. You will be expected to consistently experiment with different outreach strategies and messaging to enhance response rates and improve the overall quality of candidates entering our pipeline. This data-driven approach to sourcing will allow us to optimize our efforts over time. Beyond immediate hiring needs, you will also focus on building and nurturing long-term relationships with high-potential candidates, creating a valuable talent pool for future opportunities at Solace. This proactive approach to talent relationship management is key to our long-term success and ability to scale effectively. Your role is fundamental to Solace's ability to attract and secure the engineering talent necessary to achieve its ambitious goals and revolutionize healthcare.
- • This role is perfectly suited for an individual who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, possesses a keen understanding of the intricacies of technical roles, and genuinely enjoys the challenge of talent acquisition – the art of finding the right profiles, crafting compelling outreach messages, and cultivating enduring relationships with top-tier professionals. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of engineering searches, each with defined headcount targets, and will play an indispensable part in Solace's rapid growth trajectory. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to innovate and scale, making this a highly visible and impactful position within the organization. The ideal candidate will be driven by the mission and eager to contribute to building a world-class engineering team that will shape the future of healthcare technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2-5 years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth or early-stage startup environment.
- • Proven track record of successfully sourcing strong engineering talent across at least one technical domain (e.g., Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Security).
- • Proficiency in creative search techniques, including advanced Boolean logic, and extensive experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other relevant sourcing tools.
- • Demonstrated ability to conduct structured, professional, and effective first-round screens with clarity and confidence.
- • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a strong aptitude for managing multiple candidate pipelines simultaneously and efficiently.
- • A proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented problem solver who understands the importance of urgency and takes ownership of outcomes.
- • Possesses a curious mindset, a collaborative spirit, and an eagerness to partner closely with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of technical roles.
- • Demonstrates a genuine passion for the craft of technical sourcing and a commitment to delivering high-quality talent pipelines.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and equity package.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
- • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.
- • Professional development and growth opportunities.
- • Be part of a team that is redefining healthcare.
