- • Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for high-priority technical roles including Software Engineering, Security Engineering, and related technical functions at Cape Privacy.
- • Build and maintain high-signal candidate pipelines by leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Ashby, and Gem to identify passive and active talent in privacy-focused, telecom, and security-tech domains.
- • Craft personalized, authentic outreach messages that reflect Cape’s mission-driven tone and consistently generate meaningful candidate responses.
- • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to rapidly calibrate on role requirements and launch targeted outreach within one week of role kickoff.
- • Track and analyze sourcing metrics including response rates, funnel conversion, and time-to-fill to optimize tactics and improve pipeline efficiency.
- • Proactively develop diverse candidate pipelines by targeting underrepresented communities and expanding outreach beyond traditional tech hubs.
- • Contribute to long-term talent mapping strategies by identifying emerging talent pools, competitor landscapes, and niche technical skill sets critical to Cape’s growth.
- • Maintain clean, accurate candidate data in ATS and sourcing tools to ensure scalability and reporting integrity for the recruiting team.
- • A/B test outreach templates, messaging tones, and sourcing channels to determine highest-performing approaches and iterate based on data-driven insights.
- • Act as the first Technical Sourcer at Cape, establishing foundational processes that will scale as the company grows from Series C through subsequent funding rounds.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and security teams to deeply understand technical roles, speak credibly with candidates, and accurately convey job requirements and company vision.
- • Represent Cape’s recruiting brand by engaging candidates with transparency about the company’s privacy-first mission and unique technical challenges in building a secure mobile carrier from scratch.
- • Continuously refine sourcing playbook by incorporating feedback from recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to improve candidate experience and hiring outcomes.
- • Support broader talent acquisition goals by identifying referral sources, attending technical events (virtual or in-person), and nurturing relationships with open-source contributors and security researchers.
- • Maintain strict compliance with equal opportunity hiring practices and actively champion inclusive sourcing to strengthen Cape’s commitment to diversity.
- • Operate with autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities shift rapidly and results are measured by pipeline quality and hire velocity.
- • Align all sourcing activities with Cape’s core values of privacy, innovation, trust, and excellence in execution.
