  • • Proactively mitigate potential penalties, legal claim exposures, and other adverse actions through diligent adherence to standards and proactive risk management.
  • • Develop, meticulously review, and analyze management reports pertaining to claim processes and decisions that are subject to stringent legal and regulatory oversight.
  • • Design and implement comprehensive training programs and technical support materials aimed at monitoring and preventing legal and regulatory claim handling exposures.
  • • Collaborate effectively with Sedgwick University to ensure the development and delivery of training programs align seamlessly with established objectives and best practices.
  • • Actively participate in round-table reviews of claim strategies, providing expert recommendations that are fully consistent with legally compliant file handling standards.
  • • Contribute significantly to projects focused on implementing process, procedural, and/or compliance changes and updates.
  • • Facilitate clear and effective communication of changes and updates to field offices, IT departments, Legal teams, and other applicable business units, ensuring smooth transitions and widespread understanding.
  • • Prepare offices thoroughly for regulatory audits, actively participate in post-audit debriefings, and provide essential assistance in the development of robust rebuttal positions.
  • • Function as a key liaison between Sedgwick, state auditors, and operational teams, fostering strong working relationships and facilitating efficient communication.
  • • Educate colleagues, managers, and clients on state regulatory matters, providing expert guidance and assisting in the effective resolution of complex regulatory and compliance issues.
  • • Work in close partnership with internal quality programs and practice leads to share critical information and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • • Ensure the consistent adoption and adherence to required forms, procedures, and legally compliant practices across all business unit offices, maintaining uniformity and high standards.
  • • Undertake and complete other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute across various functions.
