- • As a Technical Support Engineer at Tenable, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Tenable’s cybersecurity products and its customers, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and contributing to the reduction of cyber risk for organizations worldwide.
- • Day to day, you will troubleshoot and analyze customer technical inquiries, use remote troubleshooting techniques, analyze vulnerability scan results and log events, recreate software issues in a lab environment, and provide clear, actionable guidance to customers while maintaining deep product knowledge and capturing feedback for product improvement.
- • You will join Tenable’s Technical Support team at its Columbia, MD headquarters, working in a hybrid environment alongside Sales, Customer Advocacy, R&D, and Operations teams in a culture that values belonging, respect, and excellence, supporting 44,000 global organizations including 65% of the Fortune 500.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in vulnerability management, enterprise technical support, and AI-driven support tools, while gaining opportunities for career advancement within Technical Support or other Tenable organizations, and strengthening your analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- • 2+ years professional experience with networking (TCP/IP), Linux/Unix, macOS, Windows administration, patch deployment, and system configuration
- • Experience providing technical support to enterprise clients, troubleshooting complex issues in production or customer environments
- • Demonstrated interest in AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with hands-on experience professionally or personally
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly
- • Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused mindset
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or holidays
- • Must be able to work hybrid/onsite at HQ in Columbia, MD
