📋 Description

• • Support and maintain the Facets Booklet System (FBS), a custom Cigna-built system using BPL, a procedural programming language based on C that interfaces with Unix.
• • Design, code, test, and debug BPL programs to update language and functionality within the Facets Booklet System to meet regulatory and product requirements.
• • Perform system analysis and Case Installation Tool (CIT) mapping, translating CIT variables into FBS variables to ensure accurate system behavior.
• • Review and implement state and federal legislation, product enhancements, and regulatory text provided by the State Filing team, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all booklet content.
• • Insert and maintain approved regulatory and product content within the FBS database, validating alignment with current legal and business standards.
• • Participate in operational initiatives and process improvement projects to enhance system efficiency, service quality, and overall performance.
• • Provide technical support and training guidance to Facets Contract Analysts and cross-functional partners on FBS functionality, processes, and troubleshooting.
• • Ensure precise technical coding and disciplined testing practices for complex system updates, with high-level attention to detail.
• • Collaborate with regulatory and product teams to convert legislative and business requirements into executable system solutions.
• • Work across multiple authoring systems as needed to support booklet production and content delivery.
• • Utilize MS Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat with technical proficiency; MS Access knowledge is preferred.
• • Navigate UNIX environments and execute command-line operations as required for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• • Maintain awareness of BPL, CRISP, and Linux environments, applying technical experience to resolve system issues and support enhancements.
• • Independently drive implementations, resolve complex defects, and manage concurrent projects with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• • Communicate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment to ensure quality outcomes and cross-team alignment.
• • Ensure home internet connection meets minimum requirements of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload if working remotely.
