- • Join SpryPoint, a dynamic and rapidly growing software company recognized as a 2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Canada Recipient and a Fast 500 North America Recipient. We are at the forefront of modernizing the utility industry, offering the first and only truly cloud-native customer service and operations platform specifically designed for today's utilities. Since our founding in 2011 by seasoned industry veterans, SpryPoint has evolved from a promising startup into a thriving organization with over 300 dedicated employees. We proudly serve more than 100 utility clients throughout North America and the Caribbean, driven by a clear mission: utility leaders deserve superior technology solutions.
- • In an era where utilities grapple with the urgent need to replace outdated legacy systems, manage escalating operational complexities, and meet evolving customer expectations, SpryPoint stands as a beacon of innovation. With over a decade of deep industry experience and a proven history of successful implementations across water, electric, and gas utilities, we have cemented our reputation as a reliable and indispensable partner. Our comprehensive suite of solutions, including SpryCIS, SpryEngage, SpryMobile, and SpryWallet, is engineered to streamline and modernize the entire meter-to-cash process, delivering unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness.
- • What truly distinguishes SpryPoint is our commitment to an 'updates, not upgrades' philosophy, a relentless focus on user-centric design, and an unwavering dedication to customer success. This approach ensures our clients benefit from continuous improvement and seamless integration. Our strategic growth is further bolstered by significant investment, including backing from Norwest Venture Partners since 2023 and a new partnership with Insight Partners announced in 2026. These investments empower us to accelerate our expansion while steadfastly adhering to our core values: lead with kindness, pursue vision with impact, practice radical honesty, embrace bold disruption, maintain simplicity, and execute with excellence.
- • As a Technical Writer II at SpryPoint, you will play an integral role in shaping how our customers understand and interact with our cutting-edge software. You will be entrusted with the crucial responsibility of producing high-quality, accessible documentation that empowers our users. This includes crafting comprehensive user guides that serve as definitive resources for navigating our platform's functionalities and developing clear, informative release notes that keep our clients abreast of the latest enhancements, new features, and critical updates.
- • Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and product adoption. By translating complex technical information into easily digestible content, you will enable our utility clients to maximize the value they derive from SpryPoint's solutions. This involves collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and quality assurance teams to gain a deep understanding of product features, technical specifications, and user workflows. You will be expected to meticulously research, gather, and synthesize information from various sources to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
- • Key responsibilities will include authoring and maintaining a range of technical documents, such as user manuals, API documentation, online help systems, knowledge base articles, and internal technical specifications. You will also be responsible for managing the documentation lifecycle, from initial drafting and review to final publication and ongoing updates. Ensuring consistency in style, tone, and terminology across all documentation is paramount, adhering to established company style guides and best practices.
- • Furthermore, you will actively participate in product development cycles, providing input on usability and documentation requirements. This proactive involvement ensures that documentation is considered from the outset, leading to more intuitive products and more effective user support. You will also be involved in gathering feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in existing documentation and to anticipate future documentation needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an award-winning team that is actively transforming an essential industry, powering communities across the Americas with innovative technology.
