📋 Description

  • Assist individuals and businesses recovering from property damage by providing expert technical assessments and support in claims settlement.
  • Independently manage and adjust property and liability claims with a primary focus on building damage (civil and structural construction).
  • Conduct on-site inspections and document damage through detailed photographic and written evidence collection.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical appraisals, reports, and expert statements for insurance claims.
  • Evaluate the causes, extent, and repair costs of damages to determine appropriate compensation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with all relevant stakeholders including insurers, policyholders, contractors, and other experts.
  • Ensure all claims are handled with high quality, compliance, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Collaborate with senior management on large or complex claims requiring escalated handling.
  • Travel within the Stuttgart-Ulm-Munich region as needed to perform site inspections and client meetings.
  • Operate fully remotely with 100% home office setup, supported by company-provided technical equipment.
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours while ensuring availability and responsiveness to clients and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through Sedgwick University and Workday Learning platforms.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture grounded in empathy, active listening, and mutual support.
  • Optionally bring pets to the workplace, as office dogs are welcome.
  • Engage in career progression opportunities toward becoming a Loss Adjuster in Major and Complex Loss scenarios, including potential involvement in European and international claims.

🎯 Requirements

  • Completed degree in engineering (e.g., civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering) or equivalent state-certified technical training
  • Several years of professional experience in one of the above-mentioned fields
  • Solid knowledge of building damage assessment and repair processes
  • Familiarity with civil and structural construction (highly advantageous)
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Independent and structured work approach
  • Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
  • Valid driver’s license (Class B)
