- • As a Technology Consultant at Epicor Software Corporation, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making by designing, developing, and maintaining high-impact reporting and labeling solutions that directly support operational efficiency for manufacturing, distribution, and retail clients worldwide.
- • Your work will ensure that businesses can access accurate, timely, and actionable insights through robust SSRS reports and automated label printing systems — making you a key contributor to Epicor’s mission of building resilient supply chains through intelligent ERP technology.
- • Day to day, you will design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and data extracts using advanced SQL, including writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and datasets tailored to client-specific operational needs.
- • You will build and configure label templates and print automation workflows using BarTender or similar labeling software, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems for accurate product identification, shipping, and inventory tracking.
- • You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SSRS reporting environments, SQL databases, and labeling/printing systems, diagnosing root causes and implementing fixes to ensure consistent, reliable output.
- • You will collaborate closely with internal teams (including developers, product managers, and support) and occasionally with customers to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and provide clear documentation and training for solution adoption.
- • You will contribute to light development tasks involving C# and JSON, such as creating basic UI elements, implementing business logic via BPMs or functions, and supporting data integrations where reporting or labeling solutions intersect with broader ERP workflows.
- • You will ensure all solutions meet performance, accuracy, and reliability standards, proactively monitoring and optimizing reports and labels for speed and scalability in production environments.

- • You will develop strong client-facing communication and problem-solving abilities, learning to translate technical complexity into clear business value — a skill set highly valued across Epicor’s global services organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience in report development, with SSRS preferred or equivalent experience with similar reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Crystal Reports, Tableau Server).
- • Solid hands-on experience with SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and data extraction logic for operational reporting scenarios.
- • Proven experience with C# and JSON for light development tasks, such as building basic UI components, implementing business logic (BPMs/functions), or supporting data integrations.
- • Experience building reports for operational or front-end systems, particularly in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain contexts.
- • Ability to work independently in a highly technical, execution-focused environment with minimal supervision.
- • Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer projects, onsite workshops, and technical deployments (domestic and international).
