- • As a Technology Risk & Compliance Analyst at Brown & Brown Insurance, you will play a critical role in embedding risk and compliance into technology delivery for the Retail Technology portfolio, ensuring that innovation proceeds securely and in alignment with regulatory expectations.
- • Day to day, you will identify and assess technology risks across projects and platforms, facilitate risk prioritization based on business impact and regulatory exposure, conduct risk assessments for new initiatives including M&A integrations, and partner with delivery teams to integrate risk mitigation into project plans and milestones.
- • You will ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as SOX, SOC, and data privacy standards, support GRC framework implementation, maintain compliance documentation, and monitor adherence to controls and standard operating procedures.
- • The role involves supporting audit activities, assessing control effectiveness, partnering with vendor management on third-party risk, preparing decision-ready reporting for governance forums, and driving continuous improvement in GRC processes and tooling.
- • You will collaborate with portfolio leaders, delivery teams, security, and business stakeholders to proactively manage risk, translate technical risks into business impact, and enable scalable, secure technology delivery aligned with the Retail OCIO’s risk appetite.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
- • 3–7 years of experience in IT risk, compliance, audit, or cybersecurity.
- • Strong working knowledge of GRC frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or COBIT.
- • Knowledge of regulatory standards including SOX, SOC, GDPR, or similar.
- • Experience with risk assessment, control design, and audit support.
- • Ability to translate technical risk into business impact and executive-level messaging.
