📋 Description
- • As a Territory Manager, Eye Care – Quad Cities, IA at Viatris Inc., you will drive sales performance and build strategic relationships within the Eye Care community across Bloomington, IL; Peoria, IL; and Des Moines, IA, directly contributing to the company’s mission of empowering people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life by expanding access to high-quality ophthalmic medicines.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include meeting and exceeding corporate sales objectives, developing and maintaining strong partnerships with targeted Eye Care Professional (ECP) accounts, delivering MLR-approved, education-focused, and patient-centric messaging, leveraging disease-state knowledge and market trends to identify business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance and a positive customer experience.
- • You will work closely with field leadership and cross-functional partners to provide customer insights, support strategic initiatives, and uphold Viatris’ culture of integrity, collaboration, and innovation while utilizing approved territory business planning tools and resources to maximize growth potential.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in pharmaceutical sales within the specialized eye care therapeutic area, strengthen your consultative selling and relationship management skills, and contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes by ensuring HCPs have access to accurate, compliant, and impactful product information.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.
- • Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales experience preferred, with a proven track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- • Must live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
- • Ability to travel required, including potential overnight travel depending on territory needs.
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
