  • • Achieve sales targets through direct personal selling by visiting retail markets and driving distribution systems across the assigned territory in Uttar Pradesh.
  • • Manage the entire distributor ecosystem, including front-end customer engagement and back-end operational infrastructure to ensure seamless product availability and service delivery.
  • • Systematically analyze MIS reports to identify performance gaps, market opportunities, and execution inefficiencies within the assigned geography.
  • • Negotiate with distributors to enhance business volume and develop their sales teams to improve customer management and sales execution.
  • • Build and leverage strong relationships with trade partners to strengthen Unilever’s market position and gather actionable market feedback for reporting to the branch office.
  • • Monitor distributor and distributor sales team performance on an ongoing basis, identifying infrastructure gaps and implementing corrective actions promptly.
  • • Improve competitive positioning in the market by enhancing customer service standards and optimizing product availability at retail points.
  • • Plan and execute promotional activities in alignment with brand and regional marketing strategies to drive volume and trial.
  • • Conduct ROI calculations and manage retailer incentive (RS) distribution effectively to ensure optimal trade spend utilization.
  • • Apply knowledge of sales planning and RS appointment processes to align distributor networks with business objectives.
  • • Utilize MS-Office, particularly Excel, to track sales data, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • • Communicate effectively in both English and the local language to interact with distributors, retailers, and internal stakeholders.
  • • Serve as the primary field representative for Unilever, ensuring brand standards and operational protocols are upheld across all touchpoints in the territory.
  • • Report regularly to the Area Sales Manager (ASM) with updates on market dynamics, competitor activity, distributor performance, and sales execution metrics.
  • • Maintain accurate records of distributor visits, sales outcomes, promotional compliance, and inventory levels to support accountability and planning.
  • • Proactively identify and escalate issues related to distribution bottlenecks, stockouts, or unauthorized trade practices to ensure market integrity.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes by providing ground-level insights and recommendations based on daily field observations.
  • • Represent Unilever’s purpose-led values by promoting ethical business practices and fostering trust with trade partners and communities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum full-time graduation
  • • Minimum 2 years of experience in channel sales
  • • Excellent skills in ROI calculations and RS distribution management
  • • Proficiency in RS appointment and sales planning processes
  • • Conducting promotional activities and execution
  • • Knowledge of MS-Office, particularly Excel
