- • As a Test Site Manager at The Exploration Company, you will play a critical role in supporting the operations of the test site in the UAE for Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient facility management to advance commercial space exploration.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting facility selection and documentation for commissioning, coordinating maintenance and security of assembly and test facilities, managing procurement of consumables and daily needs, handling correspondence and package deliveries, implementing safety procedures per regulations, and assisting AIT and development teams with operational tasks such as training and cleaning services.
- • You will join the Future Projects unit within The Exploration Company, a pioneering aerospace startup developing Nyx to enable orbital refueling and cargo transport, with ambitions to carry humans, operating in a fast-paced, innovative, and mission-driven environment in Dubai.
- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in aerospace facility operations, deepen your knowledge of UAE safety and regulatory standards, strengthen cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams, and contribute directly to the advancement of reusable space technology in a dynamic startup setting.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred
- • 5+ years of experience managing facilities for engineering companies, preferably in aerospace
- • Knowledge of UAE regulations, with a focus on safety
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- • Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset
- • Passion for advancing the commercial space industry
