- • MUBI is on a mission to make great cinema accessible to everyone, everywhere. As a global streaming service, production company, and film distributor, we are dedicated to elevating visionary films and bringing them to audiences worldwide. We are a passionate team united by a love for cinema, working collaboratively across continents to realize this vision. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Theatrical Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team in Germany and play a pivotal role in bringing exceptional films to the big screen.
- • In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing innovative marketing campaigns for our slate of theatrical releases in Germany. You will work closely with the Marketing Director and the wider distribution team to ensure our films connect with audiences through creative and impactful strategies. Your responsibilities will span the entire campaign lifecycle, from initial concept development to final execution and analysis.
- • You will be tasked with conceptualizing and developing creative and exciting marketing campaign ideas, tailored for both local and regional activations. This involves understanding the nuances of the German market and identifying unique opportunities to engage film enthusiasts. Your creativity will be key in developing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and generate buzz around our releases.
- • A crucial part of your role will be overseeing the localization of creative assets. This means ensuring that all marketing materials, from trailers and posters to digital ads and social media content, are perfectly adapted for the German market, maintaining MUBI's brand integrity while speaking directly to local audiences. You will manage the delivery of these assets to our media partners, which includes drafting clear and comprehensive creative briefs and meticulously tracking deadlines to ensure timely delivery and smooth campaign execution.
- • You will also coordinate outreach to key partners, including media outlets, cultural institutions, and influencers, to broaden the reach and impact of our marketing efforts. Building and nurturing these relationships will be vital in amplifying our message and ensuring our films gain maximum visibility.
- • Trade marketing will be a significant focus, requiring you to maintain strong, collaborative relationships with cinemas across Germany. This involves managing bookings, coordinating the delivery of advertising campaigns, and creating compelling Point of Sale (POS) materials that attract audiences within the cinema environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to driving footfall and ensuring our films are prominently featured.
- • You will be responsible for drafting engaging copy for various platforms, including MUBI's website, digital advertisements, and email newsletters. This requires a strong command of language and an ability to capture the essence of each film in a concise and compelling manner. Furthermore, you will be involved in building and managing email campaigns, leveraging MUBI's subscriber base to drive awareness and ticket sales.
- • Support will be provided in the planning and execution of paid digital campaigns across key platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Google, and programmatic advertising. This involves understanding audience targeting, ad creative, and campaign performance to maximize reach and engagement.
- • You will prepare insightful presentation decks for campaign round-ups, summarizing key activities, results, and learnings. This will involve analyzing campaign performance data and presenting findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
- • Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc support for talent and event coordination related to releases, working in close collaboration with our Communications team. This could involve assisting with press junkets, premiere events, or other promotional activities designed to generate media attention and audience excitement.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of film distribution and marketing, contributing directly to MUBI's mission of making great cinema accessible. You will be part of a passionate, international team that values creativity, collaboration, and a shared love for film.
