đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Finance Operations & Controls Specialist at Laminar Projects, you will be a key architect of the company’s financial backbone, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability in finance operations during a period of rapid global growth. This role is not about maintaining the status quo—it’s about bringing structure to complexity, improving processes, and building systems that enable the business to scale intelligently and sustainably.
  • • Day to day, you will own core finance operations including payments, treasury activities, payroll coordination, and reconciliations; strengthen controls by performing checks, investigating inconsistencies, and improving reliability; improve systems and workflows using Excel and Power Query to automate manual tasks; collaborate closely with People Ops, external accountants, payroll providers, and cross-functional teams; and take ownership of identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement in finance processes.

Despite being a lean team, Finance has a huge impact across the business, and you will work in an environment that values operational discipline, financial stability, strong controls, and constant improvement.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in operational finance, gain hands-on experience with process automation and data analysis using Excel and Power Query, and grow your ability to influence business outcomes through improved controls and scalable systems. You will be surrounded by high-performing, kind, and authentic colleagues who prioritize learning and human flourishing, and you will have access to extensive coaching and development opportunities designed to give you five years’ worth of growth for every one year with the company.

  • • Professional body membership fee covered per year
  • • In-house coaching: Regular 1:1 confidential coaching sessions
  • • Flexibility to manage personal commitments without needing permission
  • • Access to 5 years’ worth of learning and development for every 1 year with the company
  • • Opportunity to be surrounded by and learn from high-performing, meritocratic peers
