📋 Description

• As a Threat Intelligence Analyst at Ping Identity Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding digital experiences by contributing to all phases of the threat intelligence lifecycle. This position is crucial for building and enhancing our threat intelligence program, providing vital insights for both internal teams and external partners. Your work will directly impact the security posture of Ping Identity and its global enterprise clients, ensuring seamless and secure digital interactions.
• In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the meticulous collection and in-depth analysis of cyber threat intelligence, drawing from a diverse range of sources including open-source intelligence (OSINT), trusted partner feeds, and vendor-provided intelligence. You will leverage cutting-edge security tools such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions to identify and proactively mitigate emerging threats. A significant part of your day-to-day will involve developing sophisticated detection mechanisms and executing targeted threat hunts, all informed by a deep understanding of threat actor behaviors, their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and the latest intelligence feeds. You will also be instrumental in supporting incident response operations by providing timely and actionable intelligence analysis and strategic recommendations, helping to minimize the impact of security incidents.
• Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and refinement of a robust platform dedicated to the creation, evolution, and dissemination of threat intelligence. This includes crafting high-impact intelligence reports tailored for various audiences, from executive leadership and business stakeholders to technical teams, ensuring that critical security information is communicated effectively. The intelligence you curate will be delivered in multiple formats, including comprehensive reports, concise slidedecks, and programmatically accessible data, making it readily consumable across all levels of the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into a specialized area of cybersecurity, making it an ideal next step for experienced Security Operations Centre (SOC) analysts or Security Engineers seeking to deepen their expertise in threat intelligence.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, including collection, analysis, production, and dissemination.
• Proven experience working within a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or in a Security Engineering role.
• Experience with threat intelligence sharing platforms, Indicators of Compromise (IoC) analysis, and threat actor profiling.
• Demonstrated experience in automation and programming, particularly as applied to security operations or threat intelligence.
