  • • Own and exceed top-line sales targets for DEWALT, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTER-CABLE and other flagship brands across the five boroughs of New York City. You will be the face of Stanley Black & Decker to commercial construction end-users, translating jobsite pain points into profitable, long-term partnerships.
  • • Map, penetrate and nurture a territory that includes general contractors, mechanical/electrical subs, concrete & masonry crews, steel erectors, facility managers and safety directors. Build multi-level relationships—from purchasing agents to C-suite executives—so that our tools, anchors, fasteners and storage solutions become the default choice on every bid list.
  • • Execute a disciplined, data-driven sales process inside Salesforce.com: log every call, demo and jobsite visit; forecast accurately; spot whitespace and convert it into incremental revenue; share wins and losses in real time so the entire region learns faster.
  • • Design and deliver high-impact product demos, lunch-and-learns and safety-day trainings that showcase torque, runtime, ergonomics and total cost of ownership. Translate technical specs into dollars saved and injuries prevented.
  • • Negotiate and manage CORE and other national-account contracts at the local level, ensuring compliance, pricing integrity and on-time delivery while protecting margin. Coordinate with inside sales, service centers and distributors to remove friction for the customer.
  • • Coach distributor reps, counter staff and junior territory reps on end-user development best practices: who to call, how construction purchasing decisions are made centrally vs. site-level, and how to align distributor inventory with real-time demand signals.
  • • Partner with Channel Marketing to localize national campaigns—think jobsite pop-ups, trade-association sponsorships, co-op advertising and social content featuring NYC skyline backdrops—so our brands feel native to the market.
  • • Become the voice of the customer back to product management and engineering. Report trends in cordless adoption, dust-extraction mandates, safety regulations and emerging trade techniques so next-generation tools solve tomorrow’s problems today.
  • • Maintain a rolling 90-day action plan that balances hunting new logos, farming existing accounts and driving attachment rates across hand tools, power tools, storage and accessories. Deliver predictable quarterly growth while building a three-year pipeline.
  • • Travel up to 50 % within the five boroughs and adjacent counties; occasional overnights for regional meetings or trade shows. Manage a company vehicle, sample inventory and demo equipment as if they were your own.
  • • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion on every jobsite you visit—ensuring that every craftsperson, regardless of background, sees Stanley Black & Decker as a partner invested in their success.
