- • Lead strategic and tactical vision for the Commercial Training department, designing and executing learning initiatives aligned with business objectives for one or more pharmaceutical franchises.
- • Develop, manage, and deliver comprehensive sales training programs covering product knowledge, clinical data, managed markets, marketplace dynamics, selling techniques, and business skills for field teams.
- • Serve as lead trainer for both initial field onboarding and ongoing strategic training initiatives, ensuring consistent delivery across assigned franchises.
- • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and cross-functional partners to design learning strategies that drive pull-through and include measurable outcomes tied to business goals.
- • Act as a subject matter expert in adult learning principles, proactively sharing best practices and standardizing processes across the training team.
- • Design and facilitate training for key stakeholders including new hires, managers, and advanced skill cohorts, as well as national training workshops.
- • Ensure all training materials comply with internal Medical, Regulatory, and Legal review processes and reflect current market conditions and regulatory requirements.
- • Manage the end-to-end coordination of external consultants, including contract negotiation, performance oversight, and alignment with training needs and budget constraints.
- • Efficiently manage assigned training budgets within operational guidelines while optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
- • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to training team members on content design, project execution, and work priorities.
- • Build and maintain strategic vendor partnerships to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and innovation in training delivery and technology platforms.
- • Implement personal development plans for team members to align individual growth with organizational objectives.
- • Champion an agile and innovative mindset within the training team, encouraging continuous improvement and adaptability in a rapidly evolving commercial environment.
- • Orchestrate the development and deployment of eLearning and digital training solutions using web-based platforms to support scalable, on-demand learning.
- • Travel up to 50% to client sites, meetings, and training events across the United States, including overnight stays as required.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree
- • 5+ years total experience in life science/pharmaceutical field sales and/or marketing
- • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips
