- • As a Transaction Monitoring Lead in Investigation Operations at Circle, you will lead the transaction monitoring process to detect suspicious and illegal financial behaviors, playing a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of Circle’s global digital asset platform.
- • Day to day, you will monitor transaction alert queues to ensure SLA compliance, conduct Level 3 alert reviews, mentor and coach analysts, lead deep dives into emerging risks, improve TM procedures, and collaborate with FCM, FIU, and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML tools into workflows.
- • You will be part of Circle’s Investigations Operations team within a mission-driven, remote-first organization headquartered in Bangalore, committed to building open, global financial infrastructure through USDC, blockchain innovation, and regulated stablecoin networks.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AML compliance and blockchain forensics, develop leadership and mentoring skills, influence cross-functional program design, and gain hands-on experience applying AI/ML to enhance transaction monitoring efficiency and accuracy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in AML investigation and transaction monitoring workflows at a financial institution, preferably with blockchain investigation experience
- • Deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, VASPs, and evolving global AML/CFT regulations
- • Extensive experience with blockchain forensic tools such as TRM Labs, Chainalysis, or Elliptic
- • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail and ability to make reasoned decisions under pressure
- • Experience analyzing large transactional data sets; SQL proficiency is a plus
- • CAMS, CFCS, or CFE certification is a plus
- • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and Apple MacOS preferred
