- • As a Treasury Manager at Koho Financial Inc., you will be a foundational hire in building the treasury function for Koho Bank, playing a critical role in establishing financial infrastructure that supports the company’s mission to financially empower Canadians through transparent, fee-free banking products.
- • You will design and document end-to-end treasury processes for Koho Bank, including asset-liability management, intraday liquidity, funding strategy, HQLA management, and regulatory reporting, while supporting and enhancing existing cash management operations to ensure timely settlement and safeguarding of customer funds.
- • You will collaborate with Risk, Finance, Product, and Data teams to ensure new bank products are treasury-ready from launch, and lead the implementation of a modern Treasury Management System (TMS) to centralize cash and investment processes across regulated entities.
- • You will develop treasury models such as IRRBB, behavioral modeling, and liquidity stress testing to support both daily operations and regulatory compliance, leveraging AI and data fluency to build forecasts, models, and reports independently.
- • Reporting to the Treasurer, you will operate in a remote-first, high-trust environment that values clarity, ownership, and bold thinking, where you can thrive in ambiguous settings by building processes from the ground up and iterating toward continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of progressive experience in Treasury, Asset-Liability Management (ALM), or Liquidity Management, preferably at a bank or fintech with exposure to regulated entities.
- • Hands-on experience building financial models, including IRRBB, regulatory capital, and Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), with comfort in behavioral modeling and stress testing.
- • Proven ability to leverage AI and technology to streamline treasury workflows and support best-in-class processes.
- • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and data, enabling independent creation of forecasts, models, and reports.
- • Demonstrated collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex treasury concepts to non-technical stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Product, and Data teams.
