- • As Treasury Manager at MoonPay Inc., you will play a critical role in safeguarding and optimizing the company’s financial liquidity, risk exposure, and capital structure in a fast-growing, globally regulated fintech environment. Your work will directly support MoonPay’s mission to expand access to the decentralized economy by ensuring the treasury function operates with precision, compliance, and strategic foresight across multiple jurisdictions and digital asset ecosystems.
- • You will partner closely with finance, legal, compliance, and product teams to design and execute treasury strategies that enable seamless fiat-to-crypto flows, mitigate counterparty and market risks, and maintain optimal cash positioning to support product innovation and global expansion.
- • Manage daily treasury operations including cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management across multiple fiat currencies and digital assets (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP, BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT) to ensure sufficient working capital for global payment processing and settlement.
- • Oversee banking relationships and payment infrastructure, including negotiation of terms with banks and payment providers, optimization of transaction costs, and ensuring compliance with AML/KYC and regulatory requirements across the U.S., UK, EU, Canada, and Australia.
- • Design and implement hedging strategies to mitigate foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate risks associated with cross-border transactions and volatile digital asset exposures.
- • Monitor and report on treasury key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cash conversion cycle, cost of capital, liquidity ratios, and counterparty risk exposure to senior leadership and the board.
- • Lead treasury system implementation and automation initiatives, including integration with ERP, treasury management systems (TMS), and blockchain analytics tools to improve transparency, reduce manual effort, and enhance real-time visibility.
- • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., FinCEN, FCA, MiCA, GDPR) by maintaining accurate records, preparing regulatory reports, and supporting audits and examinations.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA, CPA, or treasury certification (e.g., CTP) strongly preferred.
- • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or banking, preferably within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- • Proven experience managing multi-currency cash positions, FX risk, and banking relationships in a global, regulated environment.
- • Strong understanding of digital assets, stablecoins, and blockchain-based payment flows is a significant advantage.
- • Proficiency with treasury management systems (TMS), ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), and financial modeling/tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python).
- • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex treasury concepts for non-technical audiences.
