  • • As a Treasury Operations Manager, Product Enablement at Kraken, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital asset infrastructure by ensuring new products, asset launches, and geographic expansions are operationally ready from a treasury perspective—safeguarding client and corporate assets while enabling innovation in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
  • • You will lead end-to-end treasury fund flow design and implementation for complex new products including margin, derivatives, staking, custody, and OTC, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations to evaluate liquidity, capital, and funding impacts and drive efficient capital allocation decisions.
  • • Your responsibilities will include architecting and overseeing treasury workflows spanning wallet infrastructure (hot/cold/custodial), banking integrations (ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, wires), liquidity rebalancing mechanisms, and settlement processes, while establishing internal control procedures to safeguard assets, manage counterparty exposure, and support regulatory obligations across jurisdictions.
  • • You will drive treasury policy and documentation strategy, ensuring alignment with product evolution, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices, and lead operational readiness and knowledge transfer of new product flows to ensure seamless transition into steady-state business operations post-launch.
  • • Additionally, you will identify automation opportunities within treasury and product flows, partnering with Finance Transformation, Engineering, Tax, and Regulatory Legal teams to enhance efficiency, scalability, and transparency, while serving as the treasury subject matter expert in cross-functional initiatives and providing strategic insights to senior leaders.
  • • Kraken’s Treasury Operations team sits at the critical intersection of on-chain infrastructure, banking networks, and internal systems, operating as a dynamic, mission-driven unit focused on building scalable infrastructure, strengthening internal controls, and enabling innovative financial products in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape—making this role essential to Kraken’s mission of accelerating global crypto adoption and financial inclusion.
  • • As a fully remote company with team members in over 70 countries speaking more than 50 languages, Kraken fosters a culture of innovation, security, and education, where you’ll collaborate with industry pioneers developing premium crypto products for traders, institutions, and newcomers, all while contributing to industry-leading security, crypto education, and world-class client support through products like Kraken Pro, Desktop, Wallet, and Futures.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in digital asset mechanics, treasury operations in fintech and banking environments, cross-functional project leadership, and regulatory-compliant financial infrastructure—positioning you to achieve mastery in treasury enablement for next-generation financial products and emerge as a strategic leader in the digital asset economy.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of progressive experience in Treasury Operations, Capital Markets Operations, Finance Operations, or Consultancy, ideally within Financial Services, Fintech, Banking, or Digital Asset platforms
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field
  • • Strong understanding of digital asset mechanics including on-chain transactions, wallet management, blockchain explorers, and custodial models
  • • Strong knowledge of fiat payment rails (ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, wires) and liquidity management practices
  • • Experience implementing internal controls in high-volume transactional environments
  • • Deep commercial acumen with hands-on experience across trading platforms and financial products including spot, derivatives, futures, and prime brokerage
  • • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to build relationships and drive results across complex, cross-functional environments
  • • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency including pivot tables and V-Lookup, along with Google Suite proficiency

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Fully remote work model with colleagues in 70+ countries and over 50 languages spoken, enabling global collaboration and flexibility
  • • Opportunity to work on mission-driven projects that accelerate global crypto adoption and financial inclusion, aligned with Kraken’s core values and long-term vision
  • • Access to industry-leading security practices, crypto education resources, and world-class client support frameworks through Kraken’s flagship products
  • • Exposure to cutting-edge financial infrastructure at the intersection of blockchain, traditional finance, and product innovation
  • • Professional growth through cross-functional leadership, strategic influence on senior leaders, and involvement in high-impact product launches and geographic expansions
