📋 Description

• The Trust & Safety Policy Specialist role is critical to building and maintaining a robust global policy framework that ensures content safety, regulatory compliance, and ecosystem health across diverse international markets for a rapidly expanding global consumer internet platform.
• The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing global content and community policies—including community guidelines, advertising policies, and creator policies—translating policy principles into actionable moderation standards, and ensuring consistent implementation across regions through collaboration with legal, product, engineering, and moderation teams.
• The position operates within the Trust & Safety team of a fast-growing global platform with hundreds of millions of users, focusing on identifying platform risks, monitoring enforcement effectiveness, and driving policy evolution in response to emerging issues and cultural nuances across markets.
• The specialist will gain deep expertise in global content governance, cross-cultural policy adaptation, and regulatory compliance, with direct impact on platform integrity, user safety, and the ability to shape policy for a scaling international platform amid complex legal and cultural landscapes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above, with preferred backgrounds in Law, Public Policy, International Relations, Media/Communications, or Sociology
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, content policy, platform governance, or related domains
• Fluency in English (working language) and strong cross-cultural communication skills to understand regional user behaviors and cultural nuances
