Full Job Description
📋 Description
• As UK Clinical Ops Lead at AIOS Medical, you will build and scale the clinical operating system that enables GLP-1 patients to move through care safely, quickly, and consistently, directly contributing to the company’s mission of becoming the world’s first trillion-dollar healthcare company by automating and intelligentifying consumer healthcare.
• Day to day, you will lead the senior clinical team and own the day-to-day clinical engine across >50 prescribing pharmacists and the medic team, including staffing, rota, capacity planning, protocolisation, adherence to protocols, clinical workflow design, and KPI ownership to ensure clinical capacity stays ahead of growth and prescribing queues move smoothly.
• You will work across Clinical, Product, and Operations to translate prescribing frameworks into clear decision trees, escalation pathways, and productised workflows that scale to serve ≥1,000,000 patients per month, ensuring compliant, auditable, and scalable processes.
• In this role, you will define how modern, protocol-driven care is delivered at massive scale, raise team standards through audits and retraining, drive clinical throughput and KPIs, and unify prescribing pathways across pharmacists and medics — all while operating in a high-intensity, mission-driven startup environment backed by top-tier investors and already serving 100,000+ patients with $200M+ annual revenue.
🎯 Requirements
• GPhC pharmacist + independent prescriber: You’re a registered UK pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification. You understand what safe, defensible GLP-1 prescribing looks like in a regulated telehealth environment.
• Protocol builder: You’ve written, improved, and operationalised (preferably GLP-1) protocols before. You can turn clinical logic into clear rules, decision trees, escalation pathways, and workflows clinicians can actually use.
• Product-manager minded: You’re comfortable working with Compliance, Product and Engineering to turn clinical protocols into scalable workflows. You can translate messy clinical nuance into clear product requirements.
• Commercial<>clinical mindset: You care a lot about safety and standards, and you also understand that protocols, staffing, and clinical friction directly affect conversion rate, retention, and commercial growth.
• Performance: You’re comfortable using data to manage output, challenge standards, and raise the bar. SLA, forecasting, and quality metrics are operating tools for you, not just abstract dashboards.
• Staffing + rota ownership: You’ve owned or heavily influenced clinical staffing, rota, and capacity planning. You know how to keep coverage ahead of demand across weekdays, weekends, holidays, and volume spikes.
🏖️ Benefits
• Vacation: generous time-off with a yearly minimum
• Remote: our team is fully distributed across the world and functions fully remotely.
• Professional development: budget for books, courses, coaching (£500/yr)
• Personal wellness: budget for gym, health apps (£500/yr)
• Equipment: WFH gear provided as needed, inc Macbook (≥£1000)
• Opportunity to shape culture: As an early team member, you get to help define and evolve the company’s cultural standards and ways of working.
