- • Join Butternut Box as our UK&I Growth Marketing Director and spearhead the next phase of our success in our vital home market. This is a pivotal role with immense opportunity and responsibility, as you will be the driving force behind subscriber acquisition and maximizing lifetime value across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
- • You will own the overarching growth marketing strategy, setting ambitious targets, managing significant multi-million-pound budgets, and meticulously forecasting performance to ensure we achieve our goals of becoming the number one dog food brand in the UK.
- • Your remit will encompass the entire growth funnel, from initial awareness and acquisition through to retention and maximizing customer lifetime value, with a sharp focus on marketing efficiency and incrementality to drive profitability.
- • You will be instrumental in shaping how we communicate our brand story, defining where we engage with our audience, and crafting compelling narratives that resonate with dog parents, ultimately driving more families to discover the unparalleled benefits of fresh, healthy dog food.
- • This role demands a strategic leader who can optimize our existing digital performance engine, including Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, and explore emerging platforms to drive superior results.
- • You will advance our creative effectiveness by collaborating closely with our in-house Creative Studio, creator partnerships, and external agencies to ensure our marketing campaigns are deeply insight-driven, distinctive, and continuously refreshed for maximum impact and engagement.
- • Beyond digital channels, you will expand our reach by building and optimizing innovative referral programs, affiliate marketing, influencer collaborations, and strategic professional partnerships, constantly seeking scalable growth levers that harmoniously balance performance with brand equity.
- • A core aspect of your role will be to champion a culture of rigorous experimentation. You will implement a structured testing program across all channels and customer journeys, embedding best practices in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), funnel analysis, and incrementality testing to continuously learn and improve.
- • You will foster a deeply embedded, cross-functional approach to growth, working hand-in-hand with our brilliant teams in Data Science, Brand, Creative, CRM, Retail, and Product Engineering to ensure our growth strategies are seamlessly integrated with the overall customer experience and commercial objectives.
- • A key leadership responsibility is to develop and nurture a high-performing, collaborative, and multidisciplinary growth team. You will provide strategic direction, mentorship, and ensure functional excellence, fostering an environment of innovation, accountability, and commercial effectiveness.
- • You will report directly to the UK&I Managing Director and collaborate closely with our global growth leadership team, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives while driving local market success.
- • This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring 3 days per week in our West London office (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) with the flexibility of 2 days working from home (Tuesday and Friday).
- • You will be the guardian of our growth metrics, including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and payback periods, ensuring that every marketing pound spent is optimized for maximum return and sustainable growth.
- • You will translate complex data sets into actionable insights, working with our Data Science team to understand customer behavior, identify opportunities, and refine our strategies.
- • Your leadership will extend to inspiring and motivating your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment where creativity and data-driven decision-making thrive.
- • Ultimately, you will play a critical role in achieving our ambitious targets and solidifying Butternut Box's position as the leading fresh dog food brand in the UK and Ireland, contributing significantly to our mission of helping dogs live healthier, happier, and longer lives.
