  • • As the UK Marketing Manager at Awin Group AG, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our marketing vision within the United Kingdom. This pivotal role is designed to significantly elevate Awin's brand awareness across the UK market and drive the generation of high-quality marketing leads that fuel our business growth. You will command a comprehensive understanding of a diverse array of marketing channels, including strategic content creation, impactful public relations, targeted paid advertising, engaging email marketing, strategic sponsorships, impactful events, prestigious awards, and dynamic social media management. Your responsibilities will encompass the full lifecycle of marketing initiatives: from meticulous planning and strategic development to flawless execution and rigorous performance analysis.
  • • You will operate as a key contributor within the broader Global Marketing team, reporting directly to the European Marketing Lead. This position demands a highly collaborative approach, requiring you to forge strong working relationships with stakeholders across various departments, including Sales, Product, Client Services, and other global Marketing teams. This cross-functional collaboration is essential to ensure unwavering alignment, consistent messaging, and maximum impact across all marketing endeavours, reinforcing Awin's unified brand presence.
  • • A core responsibility will be to define and meticulously deliver a bespoke UK marketing strategy that is intrinsically aligned with overarching business objectives. This involves a deep dive into market dynamics, competitor analysis, and customer insights to craft a roadmap for success.
  • • You will work in close partnership with regional stakeholders and the Sales team to conceptualise and implement integrated marketing campaigns. This collaborative effort ensures that marketing activities directly support sales objectives and resonate with the target audience.
  • • A significant focus will be placed on planning and producing high-quality, engaging content tailored for the UK market. This content will serve a dual purpose: building robust brand awareness and acting as a powerful engine for lead generation.
  • • You will be the custodian of the UK PR strategy, which includes managing relationships with external PR agencies, identifying and securing valuable editorial opportunities, and coordinating impactful speaking engagements to enhance Awin's public profile.
  • • The role involves the strategic planning and execution of paid advertising campaigns across all relevant digital and traditional channels, optimising spend for maximum return on investment.
  • • Collaboration with the dedicated Events team will be crucial in shaping the UK event strategy. You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of both industry-leading external events and Awin-hosted proprietary events, ensuring maximum engagement and lead capture.
  • • You will own the UK awards strategy, from identifying relevant industry awards and managing the submission process to coordinating internal efforts and amplifying campaign successes.
  • • Working closely with the CRM team, you will plan and execute ongoing email nurture campaigns designed to engage prospects and guide them through the sales funnel.
  • • You will manage Awin's UK social media channels, working in tandem with the Global Social Media Manager to ensure a cohesive brand voice and seamless integration between local and global campaigns.
  • • A key aspect of the role involves supporting the development and implementation of Search Engine Advertising (SEA), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), paid social, and website optimisation initiatives, in close collaboration with the Global Marketing team.
  • • Ultimately, you will be responsible for meticulously tracking, analysing, and reporting on the performance of all UK marketing activities. This includes providing insightful analysis, identifying key trends, and formulating actionable recommendations for continuous improvement and strategic adjustments.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a marketing role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering integrated, cross-channel campaigns.
  • • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and tailor messaging effectively for diverse audiences and platforms.
  • • A strong aptitude for combining creative marketing concepts with data-driven decision-making, ensuring campaigns are both innovative and measurable.
  • • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all marketing materials and campaign execution.
  • • Demonstrated confidence and proficiency in working with marketing data, reporting on campaign performance, and extracting actionable insights to inform strategy.
  • • While industry experience is considered a bonus, it is not essential for this role, indicating a willingness to train and develop expertise in the affiliate marketing sector.
