UK OneSource Procurement Specialist

📋 Description

• • The UK OneSource Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing procurement activities for PerkinElmer’s OneSource Laboratory Instrument Services, ensuring cost-effective supplier contracts and supporting customer needs across the UK market.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting vendor costs, generating monthly cost reports, conducting cost-benefit analyses, calculating metrics, consolidating data into reports, requesting client approvals for purchases, managing supplier contracts within budget, forecasting demand based on customer goals, sourcing and qualifying suppliers, negotiating service contracts, developing and awarding RFPs, managing supplier relationships, resolving quality issues with suppliers and Quality teams, conducting supplier meetings, and using data to drive decisions and provide market feedback to field organizations.
• • The role sits within PerkinElmer’s global OneSource Enterprise portfolio, collaborating closely with OneSource Global Procurement, Operations Teams, Territory Leaders, Territory VPs/GMs, and Global Finance and Accounting to support analytical solutions and service delivery for commercial, government, academic, and healthcare customers.
• • The specialist will develop expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, data-driven procurement, contract negotiation, and financial analysis while contributing to profitability, customer satisfaction, and service platform expansion within a scientifically driven organization committed to innovation for a healthier world.
