📋 Description

  • The UM Administration Coordinator 2 contributes to the administration of utilization management by performing basic administrative, operational, customer support, and computational tasks on semi-routine and patterned assignments, ensuring best treatment, care, or services for members through non-clinical support following established procedures.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include completing inbound and outbound provider calls to answer utilization management-related questions, preparing authorization requests for clinical review, documenting calls and attaching clinical information to member medical records, creating written correspondence, and collaborating with multiple roles, departments, providers, and team members.
