Underwriter Assistant

📋 Description

• • The Underwriter Assistant supports underwriters by reviewing insurance applications, inspections, and related documents to evaluate, classify, and rate insurance submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state laws and underwriting guidelines.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering required information, preparing quotes and binders, issuing policies and renewals, processing Certificates of Insurance, ordering and reviewing inspections, and maintaining agency management systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• • The role is part of Bridge Specialty Group, a division of Brown & Brown Insurance, which operates over 25 niche-focused brands across construction, casualty, environmental, professional liability, healthcare, and other specialty lines, serving clients through more than 50 locations in the U.S. and Europe.
