- • As an Underwriting Audit Consultant at CNA Financial Corporation, you will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of underwriting excellence and regulatory compliance across our National Accounts Monoline Umbrella and Primary/Excess Casualty portfolios.
- • This pivotal remote role is designed for a seasoned professional who possesses a deep understanding of complex insurance risks and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that our underwriting practices align with internal policies, procedures, and all pertinent laws and regulations.
- • Your primary responsibility will involve conducting comprehensive underwriting audits for large, complex casualty accounts, with a specific focus on Monoline Umbrella and Primary/Excess Casualty lines of business.
- • You will meticulously review underwriting files, evaluating critical aspects such as risk selection, quoting accuracy, pricing strategies, and adherence to corporate underwriting guidelines and best practices.
- • A significant part of your role will be to assess the overall quality of underwriting decisions, identifying any deviations from established standards and pinpointing areas where improvements can be made.

- • You will actively support various audit-related projects, contributing your expertise to the implementation of audit findings and recommendations.

- • By partnering closely with the Audit Leader and fellow team members, you will play a direct role in enhancing the overall underwriting quality assurance framework and driving operational efficiencies across the department.
- • Your insights and experience will also contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of CNA's corporate underwriting guidelines, philosophies, and strategic initiatives, shaping the future of our underwriting operations.

- • This role is ideal for someone with over 5 years of experience in large accounts underwriting and/or Monoline Umbrella, providing a solid foundation for the responsibilities involved.
