This role is pivotal in amplifying Wizz's reach and engagement within the crucial US Gen Z demographic by spearheading an authentic and high-performing influencer content strategy.
  • • As an Influencer Content Associate, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing Voodoo's influencer marketing initiatives for Wizz, a thriving social app designed for teens with over 3 million monthly active users in the US and UK. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of activities aimed at fostering genuine connections and driving user growth. You will be tasked with creating compelling content that deeply resonates with US Gen Z audiences, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with Wizz's core brand values of authenticity and teen-friendliness. A significant part of your role will involve taking full ownership of influencer operations, from meticulously identifying emerging trends in the social media landscape to strategically executing campaigns that demonstrably boost user engagement and contribute to the app's overall growth. You will manage and cultivate a diverse network of over 100 influencers, spanning micro, macro, and mega creator tiers, requiring you to build and maintain robust relationships at scale. This involves proactive outreach, consistent communication, and fostering a collaborative environment. Furthermore, you will be responsible for actively sourcing and discovering top-performing content across various social media platforms, ensuring Voodoo remains at the cutting edge of Gen Z trends and maintains a keen awareness of competitor strategies. This proactive approach will allow for the identification of new opportunities and the adaptation of successful tactics.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the experimentation with viral marketing tactics and the testing of unconventional approaches to maximize organic reach and engagement. This requires a curious and experimental mindset, a willingness to take calculated risks, and an ability to analyze the outcomes of these tests to refine future strategies. You will also be responsible for developing detailed creative briefs that precisely align with Wizz's brand identity, and then meticulously overseeing the execution of these briefs by your network of creators, ensuring the final content meets quality standards and brand messaging. Engaging and contracting creators will be a core function, necessitating the formalization of all agreements to ensure clarity and compliance. In situations where creative vision or quality assurance demands it, you will assist with video production and editing, leveraging your understanding of content creation to ensure the final output is polished and impactful. To ensure continuous improvement and strategic decision-making, you will diligently track and analyze content performance, building and maintaining a comprehensive CRM database of creators. Regular reporting on production outputs and key performance metrics will be essential for informing stakeholders and guiding future efforts. Your role will also involve close collaboration with the Product, User Acquisition, and Creative teams, ensuring that influencer content strategies are tightly aligned with overarching Wizz-specific objectives and product roadmaps. This cross-functional collaboration is vital for a cohesive and effective marketing approach.
