📋 Description

• • As a USA Payroll Compliance Expert at Remote Referral Board Inc., you will serve as the subject matter expert for US payroll compliance, playing a pivotal role in strengthening compliance practices, supporting automation initiatives, leading audits, and guiding the payroll team through complex regulatory landscapes. Your work will directly impact risk reduction, audit readiness, and the scalability of Remote’s global employment platform.
• • Day to day, you will lead internal payroll compliance audits, identify and oversee resolution of compliance issues, monitor and interpret changes in US federal, state, and local payroll legislation, and ensure these updates are reflected in operations and product workflows. You will partner with Payroll Operations, Product, Tax, and Legal teams to align payroll logic and controls, support the design and implementation of automated payroll processes, and develop training and documentation to build team capability.
• • You will join the Payroll Strategy & Compliance team, a group of 20+ professionals dedicated to ensuring Remote’s payroll operations meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
