📋 Description

• The UX Operations Specialist supports the day-to-day operational needs of the UX organization, spanning research, design, and analytics functions, ensuring UX initiatives progress on schedule through intake, project coordination, workflow tracking, and cross-functional communication.
• The person will manage intake, tracking, and coordination of UX work across teams, maintain and update tools like Jira, facilitate communication across stakeholders, support budget and vendor coordination, and represent UX teams in key meetings to share project updates and risks.
• The role is part of the National University System, a mission-driven institution serving over 45,000 students with more than 4,500 faculty and staff, dedicated to creating innovative solutions for 21st-century education and fostering a supportive academic and work environment.
• The person can learn to optimize UX workflows, gain experience in cross-functional program coordination, develop expertise in budget and vendor management within a UX context, and strengthen skills in Agile environments, process improvement, and stakeholder reporting while contributing to user experience outcomes tied to performance metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business operations, project management, or a related field preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in operations, program coordination, or UX/project support roles
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Marketing)
• Familiarity with UX processes (design, research, testing) and digital/web environments
• Experience using tools like Jira, Asana, Airtable, or similar to track and manage work
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain clear workflows
