  • • Join Fundraise Up as a UX Researcher and become a pivotal force in elevating the quality, speed, and impact of our product research initiatives. In this dynamic role, you will bridge the gap between classic UX research methodologies and cutting-edge Product Discovery, exploring new markets, segments, and untapped product opportunities. You will navigate both B2C and B2B landscapes, contributing to the enhancement of donor-facing experiences and the optimization of nonprofit/organization-facing workflows.
  • • As a key member of our Product Research Team, you will own research initiatives from inception to completion. This involves taking a project from the quarterly plan, meticulously crafting the research methodology, conducting the research itself, performing thorough analysis, synthesizing findings, presenting actionable insights, and driving the implementation of recommendations.
  • • Your expertise will be crucial in selecting the most appropriate research methods for each unique challenge. Whether it's conducting in-depth interviews, performing usability tests, executing concept tests, deploying surveys, undertaking desk research, or performing competitive scans, you will leverage your strong methodological toolkit to choose the method that best aligns with the level of uncertainty, business objectives, and project timelines.
  • • You will be responsible for setting up the operational mechanics of research studies, including gaining access to necessary tools and data, managing participant scheduling and confirmations, handling session logistics, and ensuring efficient note-taking, recording, and documentation. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and self-sufficiency, with minimal hand-holding.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves acting as the cross-team “glue,” proactively gathering hypotheses and contextual information from various departments such as Sales, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Analytics. You will then transform this input into well-defined, testable research questions that guide our product development.
  • • You will maintain a close connection with product analytics, diligently monitoring dashboards and reports. Collaborating with data analysts, you will identify anomalies and drop-off points, formulate hypotheses based on these observations, and prioritize which hypotheses to validate through rigorous research.
  • • Your outputs will be designed for immediate usability and impact. You will deliver clear key findings, facilitate decision-making, identify trade-offs and risks, and provide concrete recommendations, all supported by compelling evidence such as user quotes, video clips, and relevant metrics.
  • • Maintaining an internal pulse on existing knowledge is vital. You will regularly review past research, ongoing studies, and competitor insights to synthesize what is already known, ensuring that new research efforts build upon existing knowledge and avoid redundancy.
  • • You will be the unwavering advocate for our users, ensuring their needs and constraints are consistently represented in product decisions, moving beyond mere opinions to data-driven insights.

  • • Our product ecosystem is large and complex, serving nonprofits, donors, and partners worldwide. It includes a modern checkout experience, customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, robust admin tools, and several internal applications. Your research will inform the evolution of these critical components.
  • • You will operate within a distributed team of over 160 product professionals, primarily based across Europe and surrounding regions.
