- • We are seeking a talented and driven UX Writer / Content Designer to join our dynamic Design team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across our diverse range of products by crafting clear, concise, and user-centered content. You will be responsible for defining and refining the voice and tone of Parafin, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all user-facing surfaces. - • Your primary responsibilities will include writing and editing UI copy for our web and mobile applications, developing engaging and informative email communications, and creating comprehensive FAQ sections to support our users. You will also play a crucial role in content management, which involves navigating the approval processes with our Legal team and banking partners, as well as establishing and maintaining robust content repositories. This is a highly collaborative role where you will engage with nearly every department at Parafin, including Product Management, Engineering, Customer Servicing, and Legal, ensuring that content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
- • You will be a key participant in the design process for new features and products, providing content expertise from the initial ideation stages through to final implementation. This involves translating complex financial concepts into easily understandable language, ensuring that users feel confident and supported at every step of their financial journey with Parafin. Your work will directly impact user adoption, satisfaction, and retention, making your contribution vital to our overall success.

- • The UX Writer / Content Designer will be responsible for:
- • Crafting clear, concise, and user-centered copy for all user-facing interfaces, including web applications, mobile interfaces, and in-app messaging.
- • Developing and refining the voice and tone of Parafin's communications to ensure brand consistency and user engagement.
- • Writing and editing customer-facing emails, including onboarding sequences, transactional messages, and marketing communications.
- • Creating and maintaining comprehensive FAQ sections and help documentation to empower users and reduce support inquiries.
- • Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Designers to understand feature requirements and translate them into effective content strategies.
- • Partnering with Engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of UI copy and content elements.
- • Working with the Servicing team to identify user pain points and develop content solutions that improve the customer experience.
- • Liaising with the Legal team and external banking partners to ensure all content is compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- • Managing content workflows, including obtaining necessary approvals, maintaining content style guides, and updating content repositories.
- • Contributing to the development of content frameworks and systems to ensure scalability and consistency across products.
- • Participating in user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on content designs.
- • Advocating for the user by ensuring that all content is accessible, understandable, and helpful.
- • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the Design team and across the company.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5-8 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or a related field.
- • Proven ability to write and edit user-centered content for digital products, demonstrating a strong command of grammar, style, and tone.
- • Experience articulating content strategy and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders, influencing decisions and advocating for user needs.
- • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, building strong relationships with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
- • Comfort with ambiguity and a proven ability to bring clarity to complex information and processes.
