- • The Value & Access Insights Associate Director at Amgen plays a critical role in monitoring, diagnosing, and addressing patient affordability challenges by providing analytics and insights that impact patient support programs and strategies.
- • The role involves defining and developing a roadmap for CAPAI, managing business ownership of the CAP-AI platform, partnering with Patient Access and Reimbursement and Brand Marketing teams, and leading a global team in the USA and AIN within the Value & Access organization.
- • Amgen is a biotechnology leader dedicated to serving patients with serious illnesses through innovative medicines in oncology, inflammation, general medicine, and rare disease, backed by an award-winning, collaborative, and science-based culture.
- • The position offers the opportunity to lead advanced analytics using SQL, R, Python, and Excel, drive strategic decision-making through integrated data analysis, and develop expertise in healthcare market dynamics, policy impacts, and patient support program optimization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience as defined in the basic qualifications.
- • 8+ years of healthcare experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, healthcare, or strategy consulting with specific expertise in coverage, access, and reimbursement.
- • Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage execution in complex, ambiguous environments.
- • Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills and ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems using data-driven approaches.
